Acne
Types
Acne Vulgaris
Acne
vulgaris is by far the most
common type of skin
disorder. This skin disorder
affects about ninety percent
of all teenagers. Acne
vulgaris is infamously
identified as zits and
blemishes, and often called
facial acne,
obviously when pimples and
blemishes appear on the
face. This is the state of
clogged hair follicles which
become unattractive zits and
skin lesions. Acne Vulgaris
can vary from benign to
severe. It can develop into
a dreaded scar when it's in
the utmost degree of
severity.
Acne conglobata :
Acne conglobata is
a rare type which
generally affects males.
Acne conglobata usually
covers the chest, back, and
buttocks with nodules and
pustules; they tend to
connect beneath the skin
which increases the risk
of severe bacterial
infection and widespread
scarring. At that
point, medical assistance
is highly advisable.
Acne cosmetica :
Acne cosmetica is caused by
make-up. It's recognized
by tiny pink bumps. Acne
cosmetica is often mild with
minimal chance of scars
occurring.
Acne fulminans :
Acne fulminans is a rather
rare and extreme type of
acne conglobata; acne
fulminans generally strikes
males. Some of its better
known symptoms are: an
unexpected case of nodules
and pustules, fever,
potential loss of appetite
or weight, infected
nodules, and joint pain.
Acne fulminans is a severe
skin disorder that
requires early medical
support.
Acne medicamentosa
: Acne medicamentosa is a
response to certain
medications. Adult
females are highly prone
to experience acne
medicamentosa when
they begin or stop taking
birth control pills.
Acne rosacea : Acne
rosacea is not real acne
condition; instead, it's
more of an inflammation of
your face, neck, and chest
that appear oily, red, and
bumpy. Acne rosacea tends to
shows up in people between
the age range of thirty and
sixty. It usually starts as
a brief skin condition which
may advance to a more severe
state and create scarring on
the face when it's not
treated properly.
Comedonal acne :
Comedonal acne is
identified as whiteheads and
blackheads, and with
no other kinds of skin
lesions.
Comedones :
Comedones are expanded,
plugged hair follicles. If
the comedone happens to be
under the skin, it is a
whitehead. On the other
hand, if it tears the skin
surface, it is a blackhead.
Cyst : Cyst is like
a pustule in most respects;
a cyst is a pus-laden,
inflamed lesion which
travels deeply into your
skin; in addition, it may
cause scarring.
Cystic acne
: Cystic acne is an
intense type of acne. Cystic
acne materializes when the
infected area of a zit or
pustule breaks out
from under the skin. As a
consequential reaction, the
body's defenses attempt
to attack the infection
which often causes swelling
and pain. Cystic acne is
notoriously known for
causing facial
scarring. Usually a sufferer
can use
accutane to
treat cystic acne.
Macule : Macule is
a short-term reddish area
which emerges when lesions
are in a state of healing.
Macules can sometimes form
as concentrated clusters in
certain areas of the body,
giving your skin a dark red
color.
Nodule : Nodule are
big, generally painful and
solid skin lesions which are
found deep within the layers
of your skin.
Papules : Papules
are tiny, sensitive bumps
on your skin.
Pustules : Pustules
are pus-laden, inflamed comedones;
around their edges they are
usually red.
